Privacy Policy

Privacy for Part Time Tracker.

Part Time Tracker is designed to keep your job, shift, and earnings records private and under your control. This policy explains what information the app handles and when information may leave your device.

Effective date: August 15, 2026.

1. Information you enter

Depending on how you use the app, Part Time Tracker may handle:

  • Employer and role names.
  • Hourly rates and estimated tax-reserve percentages.
  • Shift dates, start and end times, breaks, and notes.
  • Gross earnings, payment status, and outstanding-pay calculations.
  • Reports and export files that you choose to create.

2. Local storage

Your employers, roles, shifts, rates, notes, and calculated earnings are stored locally on your device. Part Time Tracker does not require an account and does not send these records to a developer-operated server.

Records remain on your device until you delete them in the app or remove the app. Deleting the app generally removes its locally stored data, subject to your device and backup settings.

3. No advertising or tracking

Part Time Tracker does not include third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or analytics SDKs. We do not sell or rent your personal information or employment records.

4. Purchases

The optional Lifetime Pro purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Apple handles payment and account information under its own privacy policy. Part Time Tracker checks the StoreKit purchase entitlement needed to unlock Pro features; the app does not receive or store your full payment-card information.

5. Exports and sharing

CSV and PDF files are created only when you request an export. You decide where to save or share them using Apple’s system interface. Once you send an export to another person, app, or storage provider, that recipient’s privacy practices apply. Review exports before sharing because they may contain work and financial information.

6. Support communications

If you contact support by email, we receive the email address, message, and any information you choose to include. We use that information to respond to your request. Please do not send sensitive employment or financial details.

7. Children’s privacy

Part Time Tracker is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

8. Security

Local storage reduces unnecessary transmission of your work records, but no device or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device with a passcode and keep iOS up to date.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when a new version is published.
